ALERTSLive alert map & report feed
WHAT IS BEING
REPORTED, AND WHERE.
Every missing-child alert, kidnapping notice, trafficking prosecution and exploitation case that NCMEC, the FBI, the U.S. Justice Department and the UK National Crime Agency have published, collected hourly, placed on a map and searchable by town, state or country. Read the notes before you read the map: this shows what has been reported, not how dangerous a place is.

CLICK ANYWHERE. SEARCH ANY TOWN.
Reports are plotted below as soon as they are collected. Counts are of collected alerts from the sources listed below — a measure of what gets published, not of how dangerous a place is.

Pick a place
Click anywhere on the map, or search for a town, state or country, and this panel will show every alert we have collected within a stated distance of it — plus the official resources for that state.
Marker key
- Missing child alert
- Abduction & kidnapping
- Human trafficking case
- Child exploitation case
- Related enforcement action
- Hollow marker — the report named only a state, district or country, so the pin is that area’s centre, not a location.
02How to read this
A MAP OF REPORTS IS NOT A MAP OF DANGER.
01
THESE ARE PUBLISHED REPORTS, NOT A DANGER RATING
Every dot is a case an authority has already announced. Where dots cluster, you are looking at where cases get federally charged, where a field office is active and where people live — not at where a person is most likely to be harmed. We do not publish a risk score, a heat index or a ranking of cities, because no honest one can be built from these feeds.
02
AN EMPTY AREA IS NOT A SAFE AREA
Most trafficking and abduction is handled by local police and never appears in a national press release at all. Whole countries here have no source covering them, and an area with nothing on this map may simply have nothing published in the sources listed at the foot of this page. Read absence as missing data, never as reassurance.
03
SOME PINS ARE A WHOLE STATE
When a report names only a state, a judicial district or a country, the marker sits at the middle of that area and is drawn hollow. It marks a jurisdiction, not an address. The popup says so on every one.
04
THE SOURCE IS ALWAYS ONE CLICK AWAY
Nothing here is summarised into a claim of our own. Each entry keeps the publisher’s own wording and links straight back to the authority that issued it — every one of them is named, with what it covers, at the foot of this page. Theirs stays the authoritative version, including the photographs, which we deliberately do not republish.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE RIGHT NOW
Do not wait on this page. Call 911 and your local police, then the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678. There is no waiting period before a missing person can be reported, whatever anyone tells you.

04Where this comes from
FIVE OFFICIAL SOURCES. NOTHING ELSE.
We aggregate only publishers who are the authority on the cases they announce, and we fetch them from our own server on a schedule — no visitor’s browser, and no visitor’s search, ever reaches them. We add nothing: no analysis, no scoring, no photographs of missing people, and no case the source has not already made public.
Coverage is honest but uneven. The United States is well covered because its federal agencies publish thoroughly; outside it, this map is thin, and that is a gap in what governments publish rather than a quiet stretch of the world.

NCMEC
MISSING CHILDREN ALERTS
0
collected
Active alert cases published by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children for public distribution. NCMEC is the national clearinghouse; its poster is always the authoritative version.
FBI
KIDNAPPINGS & MISSING PERSONS
0
collected
FBI Kidnappings and Missing Persons notices, from the Bureau’s public Wanted data.
FBI
NATIONAL PRESS RELEASES
0
collected
FBI national press releases, filtered to trafficking, abduction and child exploitation matters.
U.S. DOJ
JUSTICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASES
0
collected
U.S. Department of Justice press releases, filtered to trafficking, abduction and child exploitation prosecutions.
UK NCA
NATIONAL CRIME AGENCY NEWS
0
collected
UK National Crime Agency news, filtered to modern slavery, trafficking and abduction operations.
UK CPS
CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE NEWS
0
collected
Crown Prosecution Service news, filtered to modern slavery, trafficking and child abuse prosecutions. The CPS charges and prosecutes in England and Wales, so its releases cover cases the NCA does not announce.
Europol
EUROPOL NEWSROOM
0
collected
Europol newsroom items, filtered to trafficking in human beings, migrant smuggling and child sexual exploitation. Europol coordinates operations between national police services rather than policing itself, so each item is placed by the country its own text names — items naming none are listed without a pin. The feed carries no publication dates, so those items show the date we collected them.
NZ Police
NEW ZEALAND POLICE NEWS
0
collected
New Zealand Police news releases, filtered to trafficking, abduction and child exploitation matters.
Canada
GOVERNMENT OF CANADA NEWS
0
collected
Government of Canada news releases, filtered to trafficking, abduction and child exploitation matters. The feed carries every federal department, so each item names the one that issued it.
Reports are kept as published and refreshed in place; if a publisher removes or updates a case, our copy follows at the next hourly check. Nothing on this page is generated by us, and no report on this page comes from a form submitted to this site.
05Act on it
IF SOMETHING ON THIS MAP MATCHES WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN, TELL SOMEONE.
You do not need proof, and you do not need to be certain. A detail that seems small — a vehicle, a house, a name, a date — is often the piece an investigator is missing. Send it to us and we will get it to the people who can act on it.
